The Reggio Emilia Way

A small place, built with intention

Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy

Cultivating Curiosity Through Purposeful Exploration

At Growing Leader's Garden, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children are powerful, capable, and resilient individuals. We draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, where the environment acts as the 'third teacher,' inviting children to investigate their world through hands-on experiences and meaningful play.

We emphasize teamwork, enabling children to express ideas through Spanish immersion and diverse artistic outlets. By fostering early inmersion skills alongside creative storytelling and hands-on discovery, we build a strong communicative foundation for every young learner in our care.

Our Philosophy

The Reggio Emilia Inspired Approach

We view children as natural explorers, capable of leading their own discovery. Our environment itself functions as a “third teacher” — every material and every corner designed with intention, and curriculum that emerges from what children are genuinely curious about.

Autonomy

Children make real choices and take on real responsibility, every day.

Community

Collaborative play and mutual respect, modeled and practiced daily.

Connection to Nature

Regular outdoor exploration and a hands-on relationship with the natural world.

Discover how your child can grow and lead in our Reggio Emilia–inspired garden.

Bilingual Excellence

The Power of Spanish Immersion

Every day at Garden Growing Leaders unfolds in Spanish — through songs, stories, play, and everyday conversation. Early childhood is a natural window for language acquisition: children in true immersion settings often develop stronger cognitive flexibility and problem-solving skills, simply from living the language, not studying it.
